About the role

We're looking for a UX Lead to take ownership of our UX domain and help shape the next generation of our B2B freight platform. This is a hands-on leadership role - you'll work side by side with our UX Designers on end-to-end design, while setting direction, driving priorities and growing the team.

As UX Lead at Zendr, you own both the day-to-day design work and the bigger UX vision for the product. You'll have the mandate to make key decisions within the domain, plan and prioritise the team's work against our strategic goals, and make sure our design drives a reliable, user-focused product. Developing a deep understanding of our product and business is central to the role - it's what lets you turn UX into real value for our customers.

You'll work closely with the Head of Product, fellow domain leads and the wider Tech team in a fast-moving environment where collaboration, pragmatism and craft matter more than buzzwords. This is a role for someone who enjoys both leading and building - not just talking about design.

Key responsibilities

Contribute hands-on to end-to-end design work alongside the UX team.
Own the deliverables and the overall UX vision of the product.
Set direction and make key decisions within the UX domain.
Plan the team's work and proactively manage risks, dependencies and blockers.
Keep UX priorities aligned with Zendr's overall strategic priorities.
Drive and continuously improve the team's ways of working.
Ensure the team has the right capacity and competencies, including leading hiring within the domain when needed.
Mentor the UX team and support their growth.
Collaborate cross-functionally, keep stakeholders aligned and flag challenges and risks to the Head of Product.

About you

You're an experienced UX designer who's ready to take ownership of a domain and lead a team – without stepping away from the craft. You balance hands-on design work with setting direction, and you're comfortable making decisions and prioritising under shifting demands. You communicate clearly, turn messy discussions into clear outcomes, and you're motivated by helping both your team and your users succeed.

We're looking for someone who has:

At least 5 years of professional experience in UX/product design.
At least 2 years in a lead or similar role, leading and mentoring designers.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate design decisions clearly and create alignment across teams and stakeholders.
Experience driving end-to-end product design, from discovery and research to delivery and validation.
Experience balancing user needs, business goals and technical constraints when shaping product decisions.
Proficiency in Figma with structured file organization, versioning practices and scalable design systems.
Curiosity about emerging technologies and experience in how AI can enhance design processes.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

High value if you also bring:

· Experience designing B2B SaaS products in logistics or other operationally complex industries
